Vessel Care & Safety

A few small habits give you a cleaner, longer burn, and a vessel that stays with you after the wax is gone.

Every burn

The first burn. Let the wax pool reach the full diameter of the vessel. This sets the memory for every burn after.

Trim the wick. Trim it to 1/4 inch before each light.

Keep it short. Never burn longer than 4 hours at a time.

Safety

Keep the flame away from drafts, and out of reach of pets and children.

Never leave a burning candle unattended, and place it on a stable, heat-resistant surface.

The vessel can get warm while the candle burns. Let it cool before you move it.

After the last burn

The vessel outlasts the candle. When the wax is gone, wipe out what remains with a paper towel and reuse the vessel as a planter or a catchall.
