Why we use coconut apricot wax
Share
What goes into the wax matters as much as what goes into the vessel. When we started ATTRBT, we wanted a wax that felt as considered as the concrete around it.
Plant-based, by choice
Our candles are poured with a plant-based coconut apricot wax. Instead of paraffin, a by-product of petroleum refining, it is made from plant oils.
Soft, creamy, slow
Coconut wax has a soft, creamy texture and a relatively low melting point. In practice, that means a smooth, even melt pool that carries fragrance gently into a room rather than all at once.
Made for clean fragrance
We pair the wax with clean fragrances, built around notes you can name: lime, basil, oakmoss. The aim is simple. A scent that settles into a room and stays in the background of your evening, not the foreground.
Honest materials, poured slowly, in small batches.
